The Sr. Specialist DDIT LDC Supplier Management supports LDC External Partners Associate Director and LDC Program Managers by facilitating external sourcing activities that drive maximum productivity in a timely manner, in compliance with internal processes, contracting principles and guidelines. Enables effective strategy and tactics and ensure professional communication and execution of sourcing activities

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Monitor and assist with the end-to-end LDC sourcing execution process (requests, approvals, supplier interactions, POs, rate-cards, etc.) and drive corrective actions to improve the process to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Support with the execution of the IT service & software contracts.
  • Provide inputs and maintain data in internal systems and trackers, ensuring timely approval complete submission of the required information and execution of the sourcing process activities
  • Being the first point of contact to address the communication related to ongoing sourcing activities and Purchase Orders / SoWs and new inquiries
  • Navigating hiring manager through the external sourcing process specifics, providing complete overview of internal principles, guidelines and systems to follow
  • Support with contract management tool implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to Compliance policies and procedures within the scope of supplier management activities.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Extent experience working in large international company and relevant business experience. University/Advanced degree and proficient English is required
  • Proven experience with Contract management tools, eSourcing tools (e.g SAP Ariba)
  • Experience in reporting & analytical tools (SAP BW, MS Access and MS Excel)
  • Compliance & risk management: understanding the KPIs, processes and supporting reports to determine appropriate compliance level. Experience in monitoring end-to-end compliance (budget, payment, vendor PO, contract invoice, buying channel, etc.) and deriving corrective actions to improve compliance. Understanding risk management processes including identifying and evaluating risks, and experience in defining and executing a risk mitigation plan.
  • Experience managing contracts throughout its lifecycle, including structuring information and activating it in the Procurement system, enabling compliance monitoring, passing the information to all relevant countries, coordinating storage and indexing with legal, set up reporting and reminder structures.Understanding the procurement content (e.g. in contracts)


Desirable requirements:
  • Understanding the steps, methods and processes to manage supplier, covering supplier strategy, supplier collaboration, supplier development, supplier lifecycle management and supplier performance management.
  • Understanding and experience in analyzing spend, demand, supply markets and competitors. Experience in extracting, cleansing and consolidating information to fact-based insights for further usage.
