The ideal candidate is passionate about improving developer productivity and operational efficiency by developing cutting edge DEVOPS tools and techniques. They are able to operate with minimal supervision and are good at establishing relationships with peer teams and collaborate professionally to accomplish our goals. What you´ll do:
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Cloud Operations colleagues to build CI/CD tools and applications.
- Design and Develop tools and applications to improve the efficiency of our Development and Cloud Operations colleagues.
- Contribute to code reviews, design reviews & technical presentations.
- Participate in all the required scrum meetings.
- Provide production and development support for the CI/CD tools and applications.
- Be available for On Call on a rotation basis
What you bring:
- BS in Computer Science with minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience or MS in Computer Science with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of work experience in Linux System Administration, Troubleshooting, and Shell programming.
- 5+ years of work experience in deploying and managing production-grade containerized microservice applications.
- 5+ years of work experience in container ecosystem such as Docker, HashiCorp Tools, Kubernetes.
- 4+ years of work experience in developing DEVOPS applications and tools using one or more of the following programming languages – Java, Groovy, Python, or Go.
- 4+ years of work experience using Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Infrastructure. GCP experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in developing software using agile methodologies is a plus.
