Senior Technical Consultant


 
About the role:
Support the design and implementation of solutions on the NARITA Platform by transforming raised business requirements into processes and solutions and build specifications and supporting projects across all stages with the NARITA Application Life cycle by ensuring that the solutions and designs as defined are delivered by the different IT Application Management teams as first class, affordable and flexible Core Product tools used globally.

What you will do (Key Tasks):
Business Requirements & Priorities Planning
  • Support the design solution and implementation plans for the assigned business requirements raised ensuring compliance and assuring we deliver true value to the stakeholder (challenge requirements)
  • Manage and content ownership of projects
  • Plan the raised business requirements with the different stakeholders and provide a “Promise to Deliver” date
  • Ensure documentation of requirements and creation of tests (scenarios with expected result) based on the input from stakeholders. Including component test skeletons for developers to assure quality
  • Run testing in collaboration with test teams
  • Keep application documentation and training material updated
  • Identify and propose solutions to resolve NARITA related business scenarios and requirements
  • Provide documentation and training as required for newly delivered functionality
  • Support in the resolution of incidents (INC) raised by end users (level 3 support)

What you will do (Process Design):
  • Support the design of new processes for new capabilities aligned with all stakeholders
  • Collected feedback on the usage and effectiveness of the supported processes and implement improvements to increase usage and effectiveness of the elements provided by NARITA
  • Document with the different IT Application Management teams the changes required to existing IT solutions while ensuring new developments are in line with the overall direction of the NARITA Roadmap

What you will do (Functional Specifications):
  • Translate business requirements into “Solutions” and “Functional Requirements” for the impacted IT applications
  • Align the Functional requirements with the different applications on feasibility and delivery

What you should have:
  • Advanced spoken and written EN communications skills (level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)/C1 (Advanced))
  • University degree in a relevant field (preferred is computer science or business administration)
  • Strong experience with MS Office usage (especially DOC, XLS, PPT, MPP)
  • Practical experience & knowledge of Agile project management (SCRUM method)
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Strong negotiating skills & emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, multicultural, collaborative environment
  • Experience with SW system design, architecture, technologies
  • Experience with reactive development (SCALA)
