- Proven project management and cost management skills
- Good leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the IKEA Retail Expansion process (e.g., Business Case, PDI, Project Design phase and Commercial Brief)
- Knowledge of retail/expansion business operations
- History of working and steering through financial tools (e.g., Investment Request (IR) documentation)
- Experience from managing change in a complex business environment, in a result-oriented way with the drive to make things happen.
- Experience in leading and influencing teams and managers
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering the projects’ milestones within agreed timeframe, budget, and quality while following the IKEA Retail Establishment process
- The preparation of projects in the pre-project phase, budget estimation, cost management and implementation of large scale & multi layered retail projects or Store in Shape as New projects (e.g, commercial rebuilds) according to the project directive.
- Manage, lead, develop and motivate local project team
- Identify, mitigate and manage risks
- You are able to prioritize and delegate and keep a good overview on the total process.
- Making decisions while operating good project governance processes and working across multiple organizations & functions, both internal and external, and leading stakeholders on a country level
- Communicating progress to relevant stakeholders, including Country management team & Board
